 Step 1: What’s the Point of This Stack?

Before we build anything, let’s get super clear:

This stack exists to help you build your first email list — not by bribing people with a PDF, but by giving them access to something way more valuable:

A smart, AI-powered assistant that solves a problem instantly.

Your AI bot becomes your free lead magnet.
Your MailerLite page becomes your home base.
And your welcome email becomes your first connection.

Step 2: What Will Your AI Bot Do?

Don’t overthink it. The best bots solve tiny problems.

Here are a few you can build in minutes:

  • “Ask my AI for your perfect email subject line”

  • “This bot will give you 3 AI tools to grow your niche business”

  • “Let my AI write your Twitter bio”

You don’t need to know how to code.
You don’t even need to train it (yet).
We’re using CustomGPT, and it handles the heavy lifting.

Step 3: Build Your First AI Bot in CustomGPT

  1. Go to CustomGPT and create a free account

  2. Click “Create New Bot”

  3. Give it a name like:
    AI Email Coach or Niche Growth Assistant

  4. For the training:

    • Paste in a short “goal” or give it a few example outputs

    • Or even leave it simple for now — the magic is in the framing

 Once done, you’ll get:

  • A link to your chatbot

  • Or an embed code you can put on any page (we’ll use this soon)

Step 4: Set Up Your Funnel with MailerLite

MailerLite is going to host your page and handle the emails.
Let’s make your funnel feel premium — but keep it simple.

  1. Go to MailerLite and create a free account

  2. Inside your dashboard, click:
    Sites → Landing Pages → Create New

  3. Choose a clean, modern template like “Lead Magnet” or “Waitlist”

  4. Replace the text with something like:

“Get Instant Answers from My AI Assistant”
This bot will help you grow your audience with one-click insights.

  1. Add a form asking for Name + Email

  2. In the Thank You message OR redirect: → Paste the link to your CustomGPT bot

 Now you’ve got:

  • A public page to share

  • An AI assistant as your lead magnet

  • An automated email confirming access

Step 5: Set Up Your Welcome Email (Automation)

Inside MailerLite:

  1. Go to Automations

  2. Create a new workflow:
    → Trigger: “Subscriber joins group”
    → Action: Send Email

  3. Write a welcome email like:

Subject: Your AI Assistant Is Ready

Hey! Thanks for joining.
Click here to start using your AI bot: [Link]

  • Post the link on Twitter/X:

  • DM friends in your space

  • Add it to your bio or your Notion page
